Make your own kiln-fired angel ornament just in time for Christmas.
Meet the potters
Our favorite potter, Debra Zimmerman of Groovy Girl Pottery is back. She’ll be joined by her husband Dale to guide you through the steps to make a delightful angel ideal for your Christmas tree, to be given as a gift, or as a year-round decoration for your home. After creating your ornament, it will be kiln-fired and returned to you with an oxide wash, giving your angel a unique and organic finish. Upon completion (two weeks), you have the option to pick up your angel or have it shipped (for a fee). No previous experience with clay is required. Join us for this very special event!
Meet our Executive Chef
While making your angel, our Executive Chef Gilda Caputo will have some delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared to sample. Some of her creations include:
– Prosciutto wrapped asparagus
– Crustini, topped with beef tenderloin or smoked pimento cheese
– Grilled vegetables or stuffed cherry tomatoes with parmesian and fresh basil
– Gourmet cheese display
Add a touch of joy and elegance – bring a bottle of wine to share with your friends.
Registration
Pricing
The cost of the event is $60 per person. This includes appetizers, tools, materials, and kiln-firing. Add $10 to ship the ornament to your home.
Overnight option
Extend the enjoyment of your time away with an overnight stay. Options available.
